Nina Lyons is a SF Bay area artist and teacher at CCAC and the UC Berkeley.

"The world we inhabit and especially the landscapes that surround us embody a sense of mystery.  That mystery provides the ground on which my relationship with the physical landscape informs my work.  I have mined these areas through my choice of material, color and form.  I use figures, animals, vessels and dwellings to reference our connections to the natural world.
